Talent Show

This event takes place at school during the night. This activity is where students show their great talents.. The most common performances are singing, but there is dancing and dramas too! This event is optional, but even if it is a lot of people go to see or participate. It’s a nice way to bring family and friends together to have a good and fun time.
First, this event is optional, not like school Olympics or the Science Fair. In second place, its at night. In third place not only students participate, but teachers ad parents too! Teachers did funny games where parents and teachers were participating. Teachers acted out funny dramas to make that night memorable. But what makes it different and unique is the participations and talents that the students share.
The talent show is fun because of what we see there! People like Nathalie, Ana , Karina , Daisy….sang songs. I know they wouldn’t have done it some other day! The English teachers acted out a really funny drama where other people brushed the teeth of our teachers, fed them, washed their hair….it was a total mess. The funniest part of the drama was when Mr. Josh started cutting his hair! Other students did dramas like Romeo and Juliet, others danced ballet. What I know is that I wouldn’t have seen it in another place.
The 2 different points of view of the talent show are these…1. Its boring…..2.Its fun…..1.Alot of students think the talent show is boring and that it’s a great opportunity for students to make a fool of themselves. It’s a waste of time and money….2. Other students think its fun! It’s a day where parents and teachers have fun. A day to show their talents.
Even if this event is optional there ARE prizes! A lot of teachers give extra points to those who participate. Probably because it takes a lot of courage to do something in front of a big audience. Some teachers give 2 or 3 points but teachers like Mr. Wilmer gave 10 extra points. Those points saved a lot of students from not passing the grade. But the good thing is that not all students participate because of the prizes, hey did it for fun!
